Oroku Saki/Shredder

This is my in progress entry for the Comicon contest over at GameArtisans.Org. Here is the base mesh I will be using, and also a couple renders of the underlying sculpt at it's current state. I'm puttin' all my heart and soul into this one, so I hope everyone likes it! Thanks for the follows everyone, you know I'm here for ya!

The hard poly limit on the low rez model is 12k. The Zbrush sculpt is somewhere around 13 mil right now... nothing really out of the ordinary.

Thanks much. The high res facial features you are seeing are all done in Zbrush though. Amazing program. Believe me, I started doing what you did too, takes a long time to get it all right.. still learning as we speak. I've been doing this for almost 7 years, and I'm still a green intermediate.

  9. You are the first artist I have encountered on blogger, so that equals an automatic follow. Nice rendering man, is that Z-Brush? I never messed with it yet but want to. The shredder is looking good, you definitely have some skill and understanding to pull that level of sculpture.
