Now that I've actually got something to show, I'll get back in the swing of things...
Oroku Saki/Shredder Update!
Just finished up the shoulder pads and chest armor, plus the belt sash thingy on his waist. It took me a long time to settle on this design, but I'm mostly happy with it, although I still feel there is something missing.. probably the over-analytical nature of myself acting up.. but nonetheless, here it is thus far!
Enjoy, I will be busy for the next two days, but I will be posting an update early Thursday hopefully!
DAMN AWESOME kinda lookos like sub zero from MK DECEPTION :d anyway Showing my support,It would be awesome if you returned the favor!

ReplyDeleteNah, I never even heard of it, but after looking it up, I can say I'm not a fan of RTS/RPG genre games, so sorry :\ But to bring you up to speed, I wanted him to be identifiable as Shredder. I havn't moved to the texturing stage yet, this is just a sculpt, I'll be texturing him once I'm finished sculpting the armor pieces.
looking good man!

ReplyDeleteGood news and bad news peoples.
ReplyDeleteGood news is we got a week extension on the competition. Boy, will I need it.
Bad news is, had a miraculous power outage while I was working(no storm or anything, wtf?), so I lost about a week and a half of work and thus, the newest update I was going to show you.. having to start from my last backup, so I have to recreate A LOT of stuff from memory.. so I'll be spending the weekend doing that. Sorry for those who were looking to an update...
@jaredkk
ReplyDeleteGoogle Gnomon and Digital Tutors.. find a way to secure some of their dvd's and practice practice practice. I've been doing this for 6 years now.. so keep in mind it's not something that happens overnight. Good luck bro.
You have a good thing going here :)
